Developing the underlying infrastructure of the entire ARISE program

The Biocloud team is responsible for developing the underlying infrastructure of the entire ARISE program including facilities for data management, storage, digital object identification and integration services between ARISE and the outside world.

The Biocloud team builds the digital playground for you to discover and work with biodiversity data. This playground needs to be a powerful system, consisting of several components for data storage, data management, access control, object identification and analytics. We will develop services to connect systems and link species and environmental data across space and time. A user-friendly portal will give you options to search and visualise data, but also to use one of the algorithms to identify species in your own media files, or train and evaluate your own algorithm.
