We're building a DNA barcode reference library for all species in the Netherlands. That's why we're holding another Barcoding NL event on September 28, where we combine fun, science and hopefully conservation. The event will be in Dutch only - read more about it on the Dutch translation of this blog post.

Important: for many species/locations in the Netherlands, you'll need a permit in order to legally collect specimens. If you're the type of expert we're looking for, you probably have this already but please do not break any laws for us! We simply cannot accept the specimens if they are collected without the proper paperwork.
Two weeks before Barcoding NL, on Saturday September 14, we'll organize a full-day workshop on validating DNA sequence data. We only have a limited amount of space.
